I know it's early in the season, but man there are so many pitches that are way out of the strike zone making it easy for the hitters. They have to pitch competively within the strike zone. ACC hitters are too good to give up walks and pitch from behind in the counts.

That's what I don't like about Villegas. He's not patient. The pitcher is struggling and he helps him out by swinging at the 1st pitch. It's his 1st AB against this LH pitcher. See some pitches. Make him throw you a cookie. Maybe he walks in another run.

Gonzalez is showing so much power this year that we never saw last year. He's swinging such a confident bat. If we could get a couple of other guys going, this a dangerous hitting team.

This should be a 3-4 game. A base running error by Cyr and the error at SS have changed the game to 2-6. This is not winning baseball. Can't beat any ACC team this way.

C'mon man!!! SS is killing us!!! The error was in how he played the ball. He shoukd have back peddled as the ball was hit hard and the runner was slow, so he had all day to throw him out. As much of a mental error than a physical one.
