This is probably the most unathletic team I've ever seen at UM. A lot of good baseball players, but not a lot of athletes. That was evident when we played BC. They have athletes. A 1st and 2nd round draft pick last year and likely 2 more this year. Most of the kids down here only play...

One thing I wish Gino would quit messing around with is RF. Just move Burke to RF and Long to CF. Problem solved and the range of the outfield increases exponentially.

Our guys need to be aggressive at the plate. Taking pitches isn't going to do it. The Pitt pitcher is going to throw strikes. We need to jump on those 1st pitch fastballs like last night.

As bad as this game has been, we're just a 3 run inning from getting back into this game. He'll, 2 runs would gain momentum and put pressure on Pitt.

I have to agree with that unless Rosario puts it together in Summer ball. I think most of his issues are mental which manifest into poorly thrown pitches. He just doesn't have that bulldog mentality.

Leave Garland midweek, but pitch the bullpen guys by committee on Sunday. McFarlane could be the Sunday starter, but he had consistency issues earlier in the season. He has pitched well out of the bullpen.

Ok. Need to get some runs and start chipping away at this lead.

Gino should just pitch by committee on Sundays until someone shows they've earned the job.
