I agree. I could tell the way he takes pitches. He didn't even flinch on the big bending curveballs from the left hander. Very balanced unlike a l9t of our hitters. That's the sign of a very good hitter.
We should have a pitching advantage tomorrow. As I said, Bodanza and Palmquist could give us 3-5 innings and Federman could go 2 innings. We should have the advantage with all arms on deck.
Let's get this series!!!!
I really liked that at bat by Kafus. He spit on the curveballs not even lunging at them. Very balances at the plate. Could be a really good hitter next year.
It looked like the GT pitcher was trying to hit ADC. We know he wasn't, but his body and motion were all pointing at ADC's head like a golfer lined up off the tee directly at the lake and then dumps it in the lake.
Wow!!! What a difference having a "+" fielding 1st baseman as the GT 1st baseman saves a run. Not to knock Toral, but I've never seen him field a ball he dove for and got an out.
Finally some excellent hitting and base running to score 3 runs.
Great opportunity to get the pitch count up as GT's bullpen isn't that geat. Their starter is on pace for 5 innings max unless he's able to turn things around.
