VT has to play NC St., UVA, Duke, and ND. Pitt still has to play Louisville, BC, NC St., and WF. I think Pitt and VT will go 6-6 in their last 12 conference games. So, if Miami could go 8-4 or 9-3 down the stretch, they have a good chance to win the Coastal or finish 2nd which would set the...

Get them both in the lineup and see what happens. Bring in Rivera for a pinch hit/sub. However, Rivera has hit well enough to stay in the lineup, but I'd like to get our speedsters going if possible. I think were a better team with Jenkins and Lala in the outfield when they're hitting.

Canes win!!!! Really happy for Jenkins. Wasted no time taking pitches. Knew his job and made really good contact. Hopefully, this gets him going with confidence and keeps him engaged.

Morales has shown the ability and willingness to hit the ball to the right side, yet they keep playing him to pull. We did the eame thing on the Clemson hitter who got their only run with a routine ground ball opposite field to the vacated short stop position. Teams are just going by the...

We're swinging at a lot of high pitches out of the zone today.

This shift thing is getting ridiculous. Were play punch hitters like they're 250 lbs pull home run hitters. I know the stats say to do it. Some times you have go with the eye test. Also, the hitter has shown the ability and willingness to hot the ball opposite field. Fortunately, he...

It's because our guys are swinging at high pitches just out of the zone which is hard to get the bat on top of. They'll keep pitching us there if we keep swinging.

Another quick inning for Garland. Need to get more runs to get more separation.

Pitelli feeling his oates swing at a pitch up out of the zone. He's shown a tendency to swing at high pitches which a small man should never do.

I can't understand playing a shift on a little punch hitter. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Funny thing the announcers talking about the Coastal. I was looking at it last night. If Miami wins today and then goes 8-4 or 9-3, they could win the Coastal with 21-22 wins if Pitt and VT go 6-6 down the stretch. Likely a better chance to finish 2nd in the Coastal as VT is nearly a lock...

That shouldn't be happening and needs/needed to be coached out of him. Pitchers at the next level would not be happy running to 1st base every time a routine ground ball is hit to the right side.

Garland pitching really well early. A good sign given we have Palmquist available for plus innings today.

Yoyo has amazing power to the opposite field. Can hit it out to either side of the park Another kid that's only going to get better as he fills out his body and adds strength.

Toral had zero chance of getting that ground ball and should have got to the bag. Good that Garland got to the bag. Too many times Toral makes an Ole' move on ground balls he has no chance of getting to. He has to know his range and not be dillusional about getting to a ball.
