He used poor technique in his one attempt to bunt. You don't push the bat at the ball, you catch the ball with the bat. It's a sacrafice bunt, not a bunt for a hit. I can't understand why year after year I see bad technique when sacrifice bunting.

Failure to execute the basics is killing this team. It should be a 3-2 lead for Miami if we can make contact with nobody out bottom of the 6th.

I totally agree. I wouldn't mind seeing Gil at 1st base against lefties. Toral is getting owned by left handed pitching as well. This is killing us at critical times when all we need is for them to put the ball in play to score runs.
