I'm resigned to us being a 6 seed and Duke being a 3.

In 2000, Cincinnati was ranked #1 for most of the season. They finished the regular season 28-2. Kenyon Martin got hurt and they lost in the quarterfinals of the C-USA tournament. Without Martin they were probably a 6-7 seed, but they still got a 2 seed and lost in the 2nd round to Tulsa.

Miami is now a 37 seed

It would be truly amazing if Miami wins the ACCT, to put it at 27-6, a likely top 10 ranking, and is given a 4 seed.

We'd have to really flame out to get a 7 seed.

I understand why Lunardi moved Miami down but going 2-0 with wins in Chapel Hill and against Wake last week, 22-5, 13-4, 2nd place in the ACC and a 5 seed. Dumb. Michigan State is 16-10, 8-7 and 9th in the Big 10 and they are projected as a 7. Dumb.

I hate VPI, and I really want to win there, but they're 12-2 at home with wins over UVA, Duke and Pitt. I'm not expecting a win, and would be fine finishing 2-1 (though I really want to win).

They did beat Alabama, but lost to UK and I think are 2-4 over their last 6.

I swear if Tennessee is still ranked ahead of Miami when the rankings come out.......
