Kansas isn't a bad add but just horrible geographically. Let the big ten have Kansas and we can take Maryland back, lol ...

Trust me, we are an agreement that the ACC has a lot of issues. Their biggest problem is small private schools that don't command a lot of eyeballs and don't put butts in the seats for football. But there's a reason why the ACC is a top four conference. Virginia is a very strong asset. The Big...

Notre Dame will join the ACC If it looks like we are moving to 4 16 team conferences and that's the ticket to the playoffs. That's what we need to happen

Sometimes you say smart things but then you immediately ruin them. Virginia is the flagship state University in a very large wealthy state.

cuse sucks, But at least it's got a huge enrollment and it's got the upstate New York market to itself. We need a fourth private school in North Carolina like another hole in the head ..

Yeah, I agree with this. I wonder if there could be a future where Wake Forest gives up on big football, which could be the result if they move to distributions that are not equitable but are tied to metrics like attendance and bowl games. If you could find a way to kick Wake Forest out, The...

I don't care if you are judge learned hand, an assignment is pretty absolute. Suing a conference for monetary damages and/or trying to get injunctive relief is not going to void an absolute assignment. Plus, there's zero evidence that Clemson and Florida State would pay for themselves.

Neither Clemson nor Florida State add enough revenue to go from 16 to 18 and grow the pie. I would love to see some honest reporting on which schools were considered that a plus list other than Texas and Notre Dame. And other than Big Ten schools that would never ever ever leave the big ten...

National brand is important. That's what got Notre Dame all their money. If any private school could get there, it would be USC or Miami. Arguably both have been there in the past as well. But it's not nearly as important as number of alumni blanketing a state.

Okay. For all of you who assume the conferences need to grow to keep up, and suggest s***** schools with small regional followings like Cincinnati, TCU or Central Florida, going to try to explain something. Let's say the SEC with Texas and Oklahoma brings in 1 billion dollars. That's probably...

Obviously cordcutting has not been good for their model, but live sports is still a valuable commodity and they seem to have somewhat turn the corner after living really bad a few years ago. They have cut a lot of costs and tried to change their toxic political image.
