    It's hard to say. The Parade All American was the only thing available to the public at the time. Lester Williams was the first national recruit I remember. It was considered a big coup back then.

    Funny may be the wrong word. Unusual or odd may be more appropriate. He usually has a lot to say about DB play and/or coaching. Given how much he follows this position group, I was looking forward to his input on who he would think area the best and most viable candidates for this opening.

    Just watch the games. Mike's CBs held up better than anyone fielded by Manny or Banda. And as previously stated, he had the no 1 pass defense in the country in 2018. As much as it's been denied, most still hold the recruitment of Surtain and Cambell against him. Neither were ever coming...

    Not to mention he doesn't suffer divas well (e.g., Henderson) and didn't have the funding behind recruiting (e.g., Campbell). What's the point? Rumph's still a better position coach than the bartender.
