    With national recruits, unless they show early on they have an interest in you, they're tough to pursue even if you like them. You have to pick your shots, there's not enough time and resources to chase them all.

    Louisville is pretty close to the Purdue campus. If Purdue had a natural recruiting area, I'm sure it would include Kentucky. The only other competition would be Louisville, Kentucky or Cincinnati.

    That's not the point. If a recruit is still taking visits, we're still keeping in contact with other recruits. The message they're sending by continuing to take visits is that in their eyes, the spot is only a place holder.
