Henry Parrish Makes Case he is the Best RB in Dade County

I have said this before, but Parrish is elite at maintaining balance through initial contact. Throughout his film, you see defenders get an arm on him or shoulder into him, and he shrugs it off despite his relatively small stature. It's because he keeps a low center of gravity and maintains his...

Greed is good. Of course I love the big dog that we got (Chaney). But now I want another (Parrish).

Henry Parrish Makes Case he is the Best RB in Dade County

If the staff can circle back to Parrish after taking a shot at Knighton and still get him to commit, then they lost nothing by taking a shot at a local 4* RB they had higher on their board. If the staff fails to get Parrish in the class because of their flirtation with Knighton and can't bring...

Henry Parrish Makes Case he is the Best RB in Dade County

Staff has about 3.5 months to unfvck this one, that is true. But make no mistake, Knighton was a pipe dream. Might as well have gone hard after Bowman. Until we land a kid from Deerfield (and not a senior transfer who commits before ever playing a game for them), I will continue to believe we...

Adding Parrish to Chaney is stacking chips.

RB is a different animal. Between the NFL putting less of an emphasis on a bellcow back, and the pounding you take at RB, it arguably makes sense to leave with a round 4-6 draft grade. Add his growing family, and DJ should be considered a candidate to bounce if he has a good and healthy season.

Henry Parrish Makes Case he is the Best RB in Dade County

I have a feeling this thread will take a sharp turn towards hypocrisy if he visits O$U and gets an offer.

Henry Parrish Makes Case he is the Best RB in Dade County

We know he didn't have a committable offer from UM because it was widely reported the staff slow played him trying to get the DBC kid who was never coming here on board. Nobody is running from that fact. As far as Tenn/Mich/F$U, who knows? I don't have any inside information, do you? What I...

    Circular reasoning, brother.

Henry Parrish Makes Case he is the Best RB in Dade County

False. South Carolina just offered him last month and wants him to come in for a visit. O$U just started contact with him and is trying to get him up for a visit. He has offers from Tenn, Michigan, and f$u, and who knows whether they are committable or not. Pitt offered before those schools and...

Henry Parrish Makes Case he is the Best RB in Dade County

    1. I'm not sure who is whining about anything in this thread. It's been a pretty mild discussion as far as CIS goes. Voicing disagreement with the staff does not equal whining. 2. I don't think anyone here is actually saying Parrish is better than Chaney. To my eye, I think Chaney is the...

Henry Parrish Makes Case he is the Best RB in Dade County

You sound really uninformed right now. You know he put up 160 yards and 3 TDs against Deerfield last year, right? Another 160 against BTW. And, of course, went over 200 yards against Northwestern. What you are asking this kid to do, he has already done.

I have been a big fan of this kid for some time. IMO, staff needs to make him a priority and get him locked up. Setting what I consider his obvious talent aside, the Deerfield kid being a Deerfield kid + Asa transferring makes him that much more important.
