Another misconception about last night was the righty/lefty thing. The left-handed hitters went 5-for-15 and the right-handed hitters went 1-for-14.

OPS is significantly higher. Like 80+ points higher if I remember correctly. And Jenkins has a slow bat. He never hits anything hard. You don't want him having more ABs than Vilar.

So now you want him out of the lineup? The light-hitting guy that you wanted to hit second a minute ago should now be benched. Gotcha.

You want to move up a light-hitting 8-hole hitter and have him replace a guy who is way better at getting on base. And you keep screaming it from every mountaintop. You are spectacularly wrong but will never move from your position.

It's just an illusion since the guy who mostly gets shelled is Federman and he's started half of our games so far and was the pitcher of record in both of our losses.
