I was responding to a poster who compared UCF's stadium to a potential stadium in CG. They are not comparable. I agree.

The OB was built in '37. Zoning restrictions and population are night and day. Besides, did the OB really work when you have front lawns being used for parking? (Well, It worked for me but CG doesn't want to hear about it). I posted above on an architect's plan to get Baylor's stadium done...

Agreed. I was just following the OP and reference to CGHS.

Although I mentioned Baylor's approach to solving their problem, the Baylor stadium and immediate parking area is twice the size of CGHS. The pro's involved in this have to be even more creative...or, should I say, "convincingly creative".

I find my way to the Stadium no matter where it is. If it can happen in the Gables, nice. I know most of you guys don't care about the working numbers. As one poster put it...."let the architects figure it out, that's what they get paid for". Our best shot is to convince CG Board is similar to...

Not if you present the UCF model to the CG planning Board. The density of the UCF campus and surrounding areas to Coral Gables does not compare.
