If they don’t care about travel distance and only about “prepping the site” why are they not delaying the regionals by two days to prep them and doing everything as usual? I guess that just makes too much sense.

Worst case scenario for us. I’d love to see their projections on who they think will get the hosting bids. Idk how you can approve Miami for hosting and have two northeast teams in that regional. It contradictory to the “safety” narrative. It’s gotta be more regional than that.

ECU won’t host. They’ll put Michigan for geographical and facilities ahead of them.

Seems counterintuitive. If it worked all season why won’t it work now? They must plan on limited fans, if not they’re taking away a lot from the schools and fans. Hosting is a real privilege and schools like ECU who earn it, but aren’t in the conversation every year are gonna get screwed.
