Clemson up big against Louisville, bottom 8. Big deal for Clemson which helps them get closer to an at large. Much better RPI than FSU as well

A&M goes down to Ole Miss killing any chance they had at a host IMO. Michigan walks off Illinois, killing any chance Illinois had at hosting. Also keeps Michigan’s hopes alive at an at large, which we would love to steal from UF and FSU

Miss St walked off LSU in 17 last night. They have a taxed bullpen and a quick turnaround today against Auburn. As long as we take care of business I don’t see them jumping us

Also gotta start considering Duke as a team that could get in. If they win that pool they are in

Believe Michigan could be added to that Big Ten list unless something has changed in the past week

Neither of them should get in. All we need is a few stolen bids and they won’t. Ecu losing yesterday was a good start to that

South Carolina and LSU on SEC network. Need SC to somehow send LSU home tonight

They have mentioned Tennessee being in since last weekend. Hard to see them giving Florida a spot with already about 8 SEC teams being locks.

Everybody is overrating GT as well. I don’t think they have the pitching to make a run for the title and I don’t think they will continue to slug their way through either

Does anybody else have them ranked? And their rankings always favor big names. LSU isn’t even in the hosting conversation and they’re in hosting the range in their poll too

IMO if FSU gets swept this weekend they don’t make the tourney. If they win the series they’re in. If they win one game they’d need to win their pool in the ACC tounrey to guarantee a spot. If they win one and then split in the ACC tourney they’d be sitting like we did in 2017 and need lower...

They’re having a better season than we did the two years we missed out on the postseason. But that doesn’t mean they’re deserving of a spot let alone a top 25 ranking

I agree the RPI isn’t gospel. Tennessee is not even close to a National seed, but unlike other sports you could legitimately make the claim that most of the ACC and SEC would dominate in any other conference. There is no perception issue in college baseball when it comes to talent. The SEC and...

As a whole the state of California is a dumpster fire. Couple that with lack of support, massive fields, lackluster hitting and a reliance on dominant pitching staffs and it’s a recipe for disaster

This is exactly what I was talking about. The committee wants there to be baseball outside of the southeast to still be played come June. Unfortunately for them, UCLA and CSF only shows up once every 4 or 5 years with a contender.

I had a real problem when they got quoted saying “30 wins and one against a non D1 team didn’t stack up.” UCLA had 30 and a horrid RPI and SOS... A joke of an excuse

I agree with that. If you ask me we did not deserve to get in. That spot should have been South Carolina’s. It just really sucked getting snubbed how we did
