    This of course makes sense. The issue is why does a quarterback like Rosier get so many chances when he has maximized what he is? With Perry there are a lot of positives already to allow him the same grace period of development/playing time that Rosier has had.

    I agree with this. Rosier has had enough of a sample size to know what he is for us. Perry doesn't have the amount of reps, but all his initial attributes (even showed some clutch gene against FSU) appear to outweigh what we've seen from Rosier. And on the two ints, is that reason to really...

    I'm not happy, either, but maybe the competition makes Perry increase his performance even more and leave no doubt he should start (at least this year) in Richt's eyes. Outside of a few throws, the guy is a better overall quarterback: He keeps his eyes up field, he doesn't scramble too early...
