Vern is actually a Canes fan, he just normally likes to be the contrarian Devil’s advocate because normally when everyone is saying something is good he will make the opposite take in order to have balance on the board so we’re not a complete echo chamber... Which is actually a good thing...

The players don’t play themselves. The coaches are responsible for who gets reps.

I don’t hate any player on the team. Some are good players, others aren’t, that’s okay, it’s nothing personal.

I don’t hate Ivey. I just can’t pretend he’s a good CB when he’s not. He’s a detriment to the secondary because he can’t cover downfield, therefore he shouldn’t be playing... It’s that simple, nothing personal.

T-Rob didn’t coach the CB’s last year, DVD did. And the hard truth is, at least 4 of our CB’s just aren’t that good, we have 3 TF’s coming in that have promise & maybe 2 guys who could possibly be pretty solid. Stevenson is the only P5 capable CB we have, the rest are a bunch of ?’s.
