    Miami - ACC

We came pretty close to averaging sellouts the last two years playing those "scrub" ACC teams. So it seems to be going just fine. And who says that playing Kentucky, Vanderbilt and South Carolina instead would equal sellouts?

    Miami - ACC

So after claiming that my comprehension was bad, you admit that I was right about your posts. Cool.
  3. M

    Miami - ACC

I quoted you word for word. You want bigger crowds at home and better road games with "higher stakes."
  4. M

    Miami - ACC

How is it an assumption when that's basically what you said in this thread?
  5. M

    Miami - ACC

Because you're a silly person making weird posts and showing very little understanding of the business of college athletics.
  6. M

    Miami - ACC

No, you want a different conference because you want to be more entertained and have cooler road trips.

    Miami - ACC

What the **** does this have to do with anything? You're just rambling now. The SEC was the first to 12 and the first to 14. Why? Because it made their members richer. Now you can go to your incoherent musings.
  8. M

    Miami - ACC

Then why are you making so many silly claims?
  9. M

    Miami - ACC

So you think the SEC expanded because 14 teams would've diminished their per school payouts? You really are stupid.
  10. M

    Miami - ACC

I'm amazed that this is difficult for you. They wouldn't have expanded if didn't end up increasing their bottom line (payout per school). Just like the Big 12 didn't expand because adding two more schools would've decreased their payouts.

    Miami - ACC

So a like-minded group of schools, preferably ones with a shared geography, can fill athletic schedules and pool resources in order to generate revenue. There isn't a conference in existence that better fits those criteria for Miami better than the ACC.

    Miami - ACC

You're really bad at this analysis thing. Pretty sure that's the not the reason either.
  13. M

    Miami - ACC

This is a silly post. If it wasn't a significant reason then they wouldn't have expanded to 12 and 14.
  14. M

    Miami - ACC

If you think a school joins a conference in order to entertain you then I've got some bad news. They don't. And, crazy as it sounds, they don't join conferences merely to entertain Hurricane Club members either.

    Miami - ACC

The SEC didn't become the SEC overnight. It had a significant head start on getting to 12 teams and a slightly shorter head start getting to 14. Otherwise the ACC has grown nicely over the years and has a network launching in 2019. Now doesn't seem like the time to start making ridiculous...

    Miami - ACC

Not just to entertain message board fans and give you wicked awesome road games to attend.
  17. M

    Miami - ACC

How is that? Basketball is the second highest revenue generating sport. The ACC is primed to be a major player in all 3 sports. This is the right fit.

    Miami - ACC

Because, I think, most of us understand that moving to a conference isn't only about selfish entertainment reasons or attracting slightly bigger crowds.
