If you say so man... When you see teams putting up 40-50 points a game it's because they are scoring fast and often by using an Uptempo scheme that gasses the defense and gets lined up fast play after play... Go watch USC,Bama, Ohio State and etc on their scoring drives it's a bunch of 3 to 5...

Doesn't really matter who Alabama hires, their offense will eat regardless.

Yes the goal is to score regardless but most of the modern OCs want to score fast by pushing the ball down the field with explosive plays.

Saban started the process of modernized their offense like 10 years ago little by little until Tua became QB and they went full Spread after that... If Mario wanted to do it by now he would of already done it.

I don't get why so many of you guys want Mario to change his philosophy when a little over a year ago a lot of you guys were begging for us to hire the dude over Kiffin. Did any of you guys actually do any research into him?

Modern College OCs idea of great drive is a 8 play 75 yard drive that takes 4-5 mins off the clock. Mario idea of a great drive is a 15 play 75 yard drive that takes 10 mins off the clock.

If Coley came here to be OC I would imagine he would be QB coach as well, he has experience working with QBs. It's definitely not my first choice or second but hiring Coley as OC/QB and a elite recruiter at WR coach and just stacking talent on offense the next two years or so could be a legit plan.

Only way I would be fine with Coley as OC is because it's not Doug Nussmier. At least Coley will come here and stack talent on offense.

Grimes is a OL guy... Sure he called the plays but Roderick was the one working with the QBs. When Jarren Hall took over he had 57 Total TDs 11 INTs in 2 seasons while completing 65% of his passes and their offense still ate with Roderick calling plays

Surprised BYU OC Aaron Roderick isn't talked about a lot as a possible candidate. He just developed 2 QBs that are NFL guys in Zach Wilson and Jarren Hall

Those UF offenses under Nus we're absolutely horrific. The only time it was half decent was a 2 game stretch in 2015 with Will Grier at QB against Tennessee and Ole Miss

Doug Nussmier makes Marus Arroyo look like Andy Reid. Well at least our expectations won't be that high anymore, we could hire Arroyo and 95% of the fan base will be happy because it's not Nussmier.
