Didn't even notice the bumped thread till I was @'d. Then responded to the @s. No problem owning up to each call out. All good.

****. Thought he vanished. I still occasionally chat with Tano, Able and some of the old Canestime crew off the board during the season, but thought Larry went to live in Montana or something. Now you'll have me on an outright investigation to determine his new username. Can probably narrow it...

Don't get Larry back on this because, IIRC over a handful of threads, he was closer to me on the Amari perspective of him being a great athlete (everyone admitted that), but not being the all-world WR Bakas and Lex (and apparently you) thought he was. Ya'll were right. We missed the boat. Larry...

Funny guy. People are @ing me and I’m responding and owning each one. As I’ve always done. Telling me what to respond? Ha. You’re confused. I’ve said way more than ‘**** I was off’ multiple times.

What backtracking? That’s the type of commentary I think is funny. Read the posts. I’ve taken the L multiple times over the years. And, provided context to everything I said then. If you can show me where I’m backtracking, I’ll gladly apologize. Otherwise, I’ll maintain how I gave my opinion and...

I think it’s fun. The ‘gotcha’ guys rarely put their opinions on the line, so it’s whatever. There are good and bad opinions from almost all posters, if you start to search. Especially from the people who actually give an opinion or projection on prospects or what’s gonna happen on the field...

All good. Like I said above, there have been other bad ones. We’re looking at 16-17 year old kids sometimes and trying to project what they’d become. Gonna be some whacked out opinions.

Yes, it's been covered extensively above. And, in subsequent posts. Bad call based on what I had seen at the time. Read all the posts so you can see I also called him a top player in the state at the time, but hadn't seen the godliness others were preaching when the kid was 17 years old. So the...

Yeah, I got to see Jeudy do it, and I guess I just never had the opportunity to see Cooper do it live (i only went to two games) or in his HL tape. I heard all the people telling me he was godlike in his routes. Either way, I've been eating that **** call for like a decade. I have some other...

I’ve always admitted this one. I saw him a couple times and he seemed disinterested. I wanted to see him at Safety. When I saw him, he did basically nada and ran the same stuff. Even in this thread, I asked for evidence, video, something. I only saw him run the same stuff and openly admitted...

Actually, that angle is legitimate. Saban actually considered him as a Safety. I'm not the one who knows guys on Bama's staff (who'd confirm), but another guy on here would be able to.

Ya, tough to judge from that kind of stuff (broken plays, etc.), as it was tough to judge from his HS highlights. The bottom line here is that, when I went to see him live, he was hot and cold and it threw me off. I'm never gonna offer my opinion based on what others are saying and only give...

I covered this on the other thread. I still don't see a ton of variety (and ask those saying he's an astounding route runner to show me examples, for real, because I'm curious), but he's so good (explosive) at what he's being asked to do, that I can't imagine there's a need for it. As was...

LMAO. The very least he could do is give credit to the photographer and mention the site.

...and he may play in front of them at Safety.

Fair enough. I don't see him as good in and out of his breaks as some of the other "top WR in Florida" candidates over the years. If anything, that's telling me it's a down year in Florida.

The corner routes he runs in his film are questionable at best. If that's the evidence, I'm calling it way into question. Take a closer look. He basically drifts into the corner. Kendall Thompkins ran sharper corner routes. It's become something where it seems like I'm hating on the kid, but in...

Guess we shall see. I've never said he'd bust. I just think he may have more upside on the other side of the ball. I'll once again take any counter examples. I'm here to learn.

This was going to be my response. I agree. In his game highlights, I do see where he runs mostly two patterns: quick in and go route. He probably doesn't need to do anything else. I do credit him with a nice jab step to beat press coverage. I like him as a SS more than I like him as a WR.

I would like to see some evidence of this route running. I don't mean that in a bad way. There's a ton of video on him. Just point me to a video and a handful of spots on the video.
