They got a PI out of one. ****, on the one that missed, he was only slightly overthrown (though, yes, some say the diving one hand touch was a drop). At the 50% rate that it hit, they should have tried again.

Melo had two tough WR screen plays. Besides his own catch that didn't go anywhere, he f'in WHIFFED on a block that might have sprung BSmith. I've been advocating for more Melo opportunities, but I'm sure that type of play ****es off Gattis.

have written it maybe 100x since last season: my biggest hope was that he’d get ‘bouncier’ in the pocket and extend plays. The weird thing is I’ve already seen him do that sometimes. He actually looks lighter on his feet sometimes, but less decisive. Basically, just out of sync as a passing...

He said it himself. He’s overstriding sometimes. Watch his lead foot. It’s less of an issue on quick or rhythm throws. I doubt it’s a physical issue because he’s made some incredible opposite hash throws, too. I doubt very much anyone is going to ever admit it, but the real issue seems to be in...

Probably? Maybe? Does Rambo look better than Redding in this offense? Almost for sure. Does 2022 Rambo look like 2021 Rambo? Think that’s less likely. They’re being asked to do different things, so the only part we know for sure is he’s more likely to catch contested balls (he’s done it...

i just think it’s more than that. We’ve had the convo a handful of times already. I think Gattis proved it himself (via flashes of plays on Saturday). On certain quicker throws and opportunities, we (the system, the QB, and the WR) looked crisp. Did the players eff up some his well-designed...

i’ve argued this all offseason. Maybe they have ‘off the field’ issues or maybe they’re not the group of WRs Gattis had at Bama. Fine. But, now everyone is terrible? How? They can’t even flash what they flashed last season? To me, it tells me there’s more than one thing. But, it’s always easier...

To answer your question, my imperfect notes contain one ‘tough’ or contested catch. A high throw from TVD to Key Smith with a defender on his back. To your point, that’s not enough. Redding was either 0/3 or 0/4, depending on how you’re grading, for similar plays or drops. I presume his snap %...
