    Deshaun Watson to Dolphins?

Who suggested he'd threaten retirement? I suggested he'd threaten to shut down (not show up, etc.), sulk, and demand a trade. Realistically, he'd likely make a PR stink about social justice, as has been hinted. Basically, he could make the situation difficult. Anyway, for the third time, I don't...

    Deshaun Watson to Dolphins?

How is Houston stuck in the scenario their franchise QB severs ties and demands a trade? When they have minimal assets and an atrocious roster? Ha. Ok. Good luck to them. Like I said, I think Watson remains and they try to start from scratch around him. If he's willing, that is...

    Deshaun Watson to Dolphins?

That's a hilarious tone. What is a fair deal in theory doesn't mean it's something you have to offer a Houston franchise potentially stuck. More than likely, for multiple reasons (one of which is no team is gonna bail them out with what's "fair"), they'll keep Watson.

    Deshaun Watson to Dolphins?

Without a 1st or 2nd this year, it'll likely take them longer than 3 years. But, your approach still makes sense for them - unless Watson is legitimately done with them. If he shuts down, the equation changes. And, then they may have to hit the big reset button.

    Deshaun Watson to Dolphins?

“… the loose consensus was three first-round draft picks,” Florio wrote for Pro Football Talk. “As one GM put it, if the first of the first-round picks lands in the top 10 of the 2021 draft, that would help get it done.” This is a joke. They have almost no leverage. They can go this route and...

    Deshaun Watson to Dolphins?

You offer them the best deal. You don't have to beat the best deal by a wide margin. Whatever Watson is worth generally and to us, it's still a market. You found a home you really like? Your wife wants to live in it badly? It's listed at 1.2M? You offer 1.21M. Why offer them 3M because it's...

    Deshaun Watson to Dolphins?

It's not being a ****. You don't let the Texans off the hook. An unhappy Watson even has a no-trade clause. Tua, #18 and maybe a second rounder should be completely better than any other 1st and future first the Texans will be offered. Get it done and don't panic.
