Which is why I didn't try to play the game of hypotheticals everyone else wants to play; how would this game or that game be different if you swapped Kaaya and Rosier. I'm talking specifically about the moment. When the game is on the line and you got the ball, what did you do. Rosier has...

It's not just FSU, even though all three of those losses were winnable games. 4 points in 2014, 5 points in 2015, and 1 point in 2016. We also lost a winnable game against UNC by 7, ND by 3, Cincinnati by 11, Washington State by 6, Nebraska by 10, GaTech by 11, Pitt by 12, and South Carolina...

I actually hit reply to you on accident, then went back and edited it.

No it's not a tough debate at all, and it's not a total "what if" unless you just want to revise history. We know exactly how Kaaya performs in big games. He only ever beat one team that finished the season ranked in the Top 25, and that was a severely overrated West Virginia team in his final...

Yes. I’m talking about both of those games we could have won yet didn’t. Last year if Kaaya was under center that last play he never would have made that throw to langham. He would have thrown it away and relied on Badgely to make a FG to get us to OT. You can talk all day about us not being...

Were you asleep for those three years? We had the ball with a chance to beat FSU in 2 of Kaaya’s three years here. And don’t give me any crap about the defense. Last year we lost the lead 3 times in the 4th quarter. The difference between Malik Rosier and Brad Kaaya is the difference between...

Kaaya had the ball in his hand with a chance to get a victory many times and never succeeded even once. In three years we didn’t win a single game in which we were trailing after 3 Quarters.

There’s player bashing, and then there’s honest criticism of where we are and where we expect to be as a program. While I often disagree with @ThomasM on where we are and what we can accomplish this season with Rosier at QB1, he presents his argument respectfully and supports it logically. And...

@ThomasM is one of the few posters here who can be critical of Rosier while adding to the discussion.

You have no idea, on any given play, of the receiver progression and where the ball is designed to go. Just because one guy was open, doesn’t mean he wasn’t 3 or 4 on in the progression. Most all plays are designed around getting one guy isolated, and if it’s there, you take it. It’s not look...

Agree 100%. Practice improvement is meaningless unless it’s followed up by actual improvement in games.

Who says he can’t? CMR said he just missed the 57 yarder. Had plenty of leg, but just missed it. I think you’re reading into his comment about the big stage. Hartley said he’s been bombing kicks in practice, so that 57 yarder is very likely a kick he’s been making.

Because you’re trying more to determine if both one units can do their respective jobs as it relates to the prior week’s install package rather than simply trying to determine which unit would win a hypothetical game between the two one units. In that hypothetical, we would probably all prefer...

So when the defense allows points it’s the fault of the offense, but when the offense gets those points back and more to secure a victory, it’s a credit to the defense? Do you even understand football? Or are you just here to shlt on random players?

By all accounts there is a QB on the roster who can do a better job than what we saw last season. His name just happens to be Malik Rosier.

Bull****. If he can hit it, we’ll kick it. It’s a real ******* big deal when you’re within 3 in the 4th quarter and you only need to get to the 40 to win or tie rather than the 33 or less. That 7 yards could be anything from 2-4 less plays we have to convert, which means 30 to 60 extra seconds...

I really think ARs drop issues last season were due to nagging injuries and that he’ll be fine this season as long as he’s healthy. I can’t stress enough how dealing with something like a hammy just saps so much of your focus away.
