I wouldn’t call OU a gimmick offense, and Mike Leach couldn’t tie Bob Stoops or Lincoln Riley’s shoes.

Gimmick offenses are designed to confuse undisciplined and poorly coached defenses. These systems never work outside the Pac12 and Big12 because we actually try to play defense in the ACC, B1G, and SEC.
