Fair enough. We do struggle with situational awareness at times. I think it's more to do with a shallow lineup forcing players to try and do too much and certain hitters just not being good at making contact. Also have to remember the opponent is on scholarship as well.

How do you know we don't practice the little things? Do you honestly believe that Miami doesn't practice baserunning? Or fielding fundamentals? Do you think they just show up and try and hit bombs for a couple hours a day?

It's the Canes way against Florida. Truthfully, I'm just ready for the series to be over.

Federman is going to be fine for us, but will also have to learn to face a lineup for the third/fourth time in a game. Florida clearly adjusted and started attacking fastballs rather than getting into counts where that slider can hurt him. We are woeful defensively on the corners right now.
