Ivey played fine. He just needs confidence and to find the ball. Couch was burnt toast in this game and gave up receptions almost every time they attacked him. On the adjustments, Louisville went to an alignment that put Atwell in the slot to the boundary and used it to their advantage with...

Our LB's are not taught that way, it's the way they are playing them. Several things go into this: It's not easy to pick the right gap on a play so early in the play. There is a certain of natural feel that all great LB's have. Some of it comes from experience. Some of it comes from...

Yes sir, they measure it through a third party service. It's essentially a GPS monitoring system that players wear. Manny said their GPS metrics had him at 23.0 mph, which is insanely fast. I don't know that I believe that, as Matt Breida was the fastest RB in the NFL last year at 22.3 mph...

Dude. I spit out my tea. “Korean Jordan” vs. this quip for the heavyweight title.

Cover-2 can eaten up with running a guy deep on boundary and a post next to it. Louisville has the receivers to run that effectively. Not sure I want Tutu running a post from the slot and a S having to decide where to go with Fitzpatrick or Braden Smith going deep attached to it. Four Verticals...

Very kind. Thank you so much for taking the time to say this. It’s comments like these that really blow me away. Truly not the way I see myself, but what a cool thing it is to have people value your contributions. It’s a labor of love.

You’re right. I’m wrong. I had him as a RS Sr. on my roster I used, which was incorrect.

It was the way we schemed for the game to not let Louisville get deep, rush with only four, and force the QB to make good decisions. I’m the first half it worked great. Second half, Louisville adjusted and I wouldn’t say I liked the way we played their adjustments.

Yeah, it was all over Twitter. I saw it and live and thought holy bleep. I’m trying really hard to cut these down some and not go through every play, but that was a great show of strength. He is fast and STRONG. He’s coming into his own this year. He responded to the Twitter video. The guy who...

Yup. NOT Pressing the hole was something I harped on with Knighton last week and showed Cam doing it correctly last week. I should’ve mentioned that and it was my bad.

I should've mentioned Striker play was poor. Frierson gets removed for a few mistakes and then Keontra gets a personal foul and it's back to the bench.

Yes, but keep in mind post-game is going to be descriptive, while the metrics mentioned by Football Outsiders and others are meant to be predictive (meaning they're looking at not just what happened, but how it happened and trying to leverage the more sustainable portions to make predictions...

Unbalanced Formation: Quickly want to touch on unbalanced formations, what they are, and what they hope to accomplish since Miami hit for two big plays in this game with them. What is an unbalanced formation? Quite simply it is a formation where one side of the formation does not have a...

It has been asked multiple times over the past five years, “Is Miami back?” After Al Golden beat Florida the question was asked. After Mark Richt obliterated Notre Dame on national television, the question was asked again. Saturday night, Miami beat the brakes off Louisville (game wasn’t even as...
