This was the first signee for Alabama's new assistant coach Pannone. He's a former HS coach from the Tampa area, who has been bouncing around pro leagues for the past few years. Last 2 years he was with the NBA's Pelicans.

I don't think we're done yet. Miami is still looking to fill the class. They've had recruits visit over the last few weeks. Wouldn't be surprised if Miami signs a HS recruit and a transfer for the 2023 class.

Would be nice to go into the season with a full roster. The wing spot may not be a position of need necessarily but you can never have enough good players. Particularly ones with experience. Don't think Miami should take both I mentioned, but one of them along with a PG and a big would be nice.

I doubt Udeh would be worried about Handlogten taking minutes from him. Handlogten is a good young player who had a nice freshmen year at Marshall, but there's a huge difference between competing for minutes against Hunter Dlckinson and a newbie like Handlogten.

Would love to have him at Miami. I know the staff was on him and he even came in for a visit if I’m not mistaken, but word is he may be heading at Gainesville. A few of his former travel ball teammates have already made the move there and he’s expected to follow.

Arguably the biggest @$$hole in the entire basketball coaching fraternity. That's college or pros. However, one of the great minds in the coaching world as well. It's wild some of the stories I've heard from former players and assistants. Dude seems to be a complete douchebag.

Pitino is going to put a stranglehold on the NYC area. He's got deep roots in the area and he's going to take full advantage of it. That turnaround won't take longer than 2 seasons. He's well connected with the Guachos and Riverside Hawks.

Lubin is taller and as scary as it sounds might be more explosive and athletic. Doesn't play as big as Omier does but with another year of seasoning who knows. Omier's girth and strength usually allows him to make up for any size disadvantages.

When you watch some clips from his playing days at Arkansas St., Omier showed a midrange game. Unfortunately, because of our deficiencies in the post he was forced to play mostly with his back to the basket. Coach L and staff have seen him in practice for a year so they better than anyone else...

Good point. Losing 5 players from last season's roster leaves a lot of holes to fill. 2-3 transfers would be nice. It seems we're being selective with the portal, which I'm glad to see. We need to be careful not to bring in guys just for the sake of bringing them in. Much rather see us sign guys...
