With or without Wong and McGusty, that's not a formidable lineup for our conference. Maybe in the AAC, but definitely not in the ACC. We've got to add at the very least another starter or two and pray that Wong and McGusty come back. It's our only chance of being competitive next season.

In fairness to Larranaga, I believe he just envisioned Angel playing on the ball and thought if Manu were to get PT it'd have to be playing the 2. I can't imagine Corch L truly thinking that Manu was at his best playing off the ball.

Manu left because Corch L wanted him to play off the ball. Lecomte felt more comfortable playing the point, so decided to transfer to a school where he'd be playing on the ball.

Manu Lacomte definitely made a name for himself at Baylor and is still a fan favorite. He played his first 2 years here at Miami and his last 2 with Baylor. I think former Cane Manu Laconte will play a big role in whether Camara comes to Miami or not. Both being from Belgium, Laconte has taken somewhat of a big brother role with Camara. I hope the UM-Laconte split was mutual and on good terms, because if not I'm afraid Camara won't be coming here.
