Sam Walters will be a pro when it's all said and done. Kid is oozing with talent and skill. Jayden Hastin (6'9" Post) is another 2023 kid from the Orlando area that you should keep an eye on. There aren't many 2023 kids around the country with his upside.

Unfortunately, they've got no chance at Scottie, unless they're willing to drop the heavy bag and even that may not be enough.

This is what I'm talking about. Here's a kid from Broward County. Is a consensus top 50 kid nationally. Why are other schools reaching out to him and not the hometown team? What's Miami waiting on? Head scratching...

Angel Rodriguez and Shane Larkin transferred in from other schools. Tonye was offered his senior year, but luckily for us only school that offered prior to that was FIU. Dewan fell on their lap. I'll leave it at that. I think there are a lot of Amp's out there. Less heralded in-state kids...

Miami got to the Keith Stone party late. Real late. Like during his HS senior season late.

I'm not speaking on second hand information. I'm telling you what I know to be true. Vernon Carey Jr. & Scotty Barnes are the exceptions. Miami has done all they could with the recruitment of both those kids, but we're talking about two Top 10 national prospects in their respective classes...

Recruiting the State of Florida (A missed opportunity by our coaching staff).

What you're saying may be true for some recruits, but I know of a few who didn't consider Miami because Coach L and crew either came in at the last hour to recruit/offer or never made the effort at all. Again, I'm a fan of Coach L. I just think they need to do more with in-state prospects...

Grassroots basketball has it's issues all over the country, not just in the Sunshine State. And as bad as you may think it is here in Florida, trust me when I tell you it's much worse in other states. I say it all the time Coach L is one of the better coaches in all of college basketball, but I...

Jayden Hastings is a 6'9" Post that plays with Team Breakdown. Gets better and better every time I watch him play. Also, Jean Montero is the REAL DEAL. I heard he will be transferring to play HS ball in Florida next year. Miami needs to be all over him now. There are a couple of other...

Mind-boggling to me how a top 10 national recruit from the Orlando area doesn't get an offer from Miami.

According to 247, this is the break down for the last few classes Miami has offered: c/o 2021 - 4 offers are out (2 from Florida) c/o 2020 - 18 offers are out (1 from Florida) c/o 2019 - 35 offers are out (4 from Florida) c/o 2018 - 39 offers are out (4 from Florida) More than half the FL guys...

Two kids that I haven't seen mentioned here and could end up playing in the league are Nate Sasser (considered by many to be top in FL) and Sam Walters (6'8" Wing).

Recruiting the State of Florida (A missed opportunity by our coaching staff).

The 2023 Class in Florida is as loaded as any class in recent memory. There are approximately 6-8 kids that garner top 100 national rankings and could end up being high major signees when it's all said and done. Class is absolutely loaded! If Miami's coaching staff is to make in-roads with...
