If he’s a 24’ long jumper, as has been reported… it’s pretty safe to say that straight line speed ain’t an issue with him

To address the elephant in the room… answering the question about his speed. I’m gonna say this. Idk his exact speed numbers, but I’ve coached enough high school track & field to know, that you can’t be slow and long jump that far. So if jit has honestly jumped 24’ in any high school track meet...

Agreed, but sometimes kids STILL fall through the cracks. Even though recruiting is much better than it used to be. It could’ve been a grade issue or a lack of class credits, that landed him in JUCO. When that happens a lot of schools forget about you and move on to kids in the next class...

According to a poster here, He supposedly ran that 4.6 in the 10th grade. If that’s true, he’s probably faster than that now. IDK. But agreeing with a poster above., this speaks volumes about where our WR room is at.

IDK. Maybe Ladson is not consistent enough for the staff. Maybe they don’t think his work ethic is where it needs to be…. so they’re trying to bring in some competition for that big WR role.🤷🏾‍♂️

This! I say, “Leave no stone unturned”.If he can help, sign him up. He’s 6’4”. He seems to get off the ball and into his routes, pretty quickly. That shows some short area burst. He eats up the cushion between he and the DB, with each stride. I ain’t saying he’s a speed demon, but he ain’t slow...

Based on that highlight video, I like him! You can’t coach a muhfucca to be 6’4”. He’s got some attributes that I think Gattis and Co. can take advantage of.
