Finished The Wire this past week and it is a really good show. I still think Breaking Bad wins between the two however. The rising tension throughout season 5 to the finale is unmatched by any other show I've ever watched. And come on, who doesn't love Walt's "invention" in the final episode.

Going through The Wire now. Season 1 was good, really enjoyed season 2. Gotta say though, season 3 is a bit weak so far six episodes in. This white politician guy is gotta be one of the worst TV show characters I've ever seen. Then McNulty seems completely useless so far this season. Really hope...

Oh just wait until you get to the last season. Show goes completely balls out that season especially the last few episodes. Hopefully you haven't read or seen any spoilers because it'll nail you right in the gut.
