That's misinformation wrapped in a lie. We "cooled" on him after going after him about as hard as possible and the kid really not responding favorably. That's not to say things can't change, these are kids after all, but at the time that was the thinking.

Flipping Williams would be a game changer. He's not only the best WR in the state but he's been actively recruiting for FSU. Let's hold hands and dream.

Cooper isn't going anywhere (at least he shouldn't). I'd argue he was one of the few bright spots in an abomination of a season. He's got All ACC potential. I haven't seen a young guard play with that type of leverage in a LONG time.

He runs better routes that Lane ever did. He's great at judging the ball in the air and high pointing. He's got good speed for a kid his size and phenomenal hands. He's a kid I've been tracking for a while .

Coaching will definitely matter...but he's got more God given talent that any of the SF WR prospects this year. My #2 isn't Innis or Brown either....give me Jean over either of them.

I'll fight you on this one. He's been my favorite South Florida WR this year from day 1. I'd take him over Innis or Jalen Brown in a heartbeat and it's not close.

He didn't specify. Someone tweeted @ him saying we need to add a major HS WR and he replied with "You will not be disappointed".

If any of you follow Ruiz on Twitter....he's hinting at a major surprise at WR. NOT a portal guy to be clear, he stated it was a high school kid.
