You keep attacking me personally, but all I have done is point out the stupidity behind your ideas. I haven't said one negative thing about the athletic department. IT CAN'T BE DONE. Those people who came from poor backgrounds and became successful and have a donor's heart are already...

LMAO. You keep digging deeper. Who, then, is going to give a kid $250,000 to go to Miami? Line them up for us.

So his uncle paid his tuition. Great story. You, however, want to organize a plan where UM fans, also known as boosters, pay tuition for baseball players. Great troll job, by the way.

There is no difference. It's illegal for all athletes, no matter which NCAA sport they play.

The CWS teams came from these areas: Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Michigan, north Florida. Maybe we should be getting more rednecks and fewer south Florida pretty boy showcase heroes.

These guys have to lean on that excuse in order to defend the product we've been putting on the field.

Yes, the scholarship limits should be higher. No, we can't get private citizens to pay tuition for baseball players.

But can we find some non-boosters who will all donate $250,000 to pay for walk-on baseball players to go to school for free?????? Isn't that legal??????

The athlete wouldn’t allow that to happen because the athlete understands the rules better than you do.

Just curious....how is it going to fix our problem if the solution is to give non scholarship baseball players free shoes?

They were walk ons until they were given full scholarships. If a private citizen pays the tuition and fees for an athlete, that private citizen is now a booster who is providing an illegal benefit. I can keep saying it over and over if I need to.

Yes, they are students. Students who play sports. Sports are governed by the NCAA. Students who play sports that are governed by the NCAA can’t get free gifts such as free tuition from a booster. Hope this helps.

Because this generous donor is called a booster. Boosters can’t give gifts to athletes. My dog understands this.

Good lord. Endowments provide financial aid for ALL students. You’re trying to create some program that gives aid to walk on athletes. Everyone else seems to understand that you can’t do it like that.

We were top 20 when we couldn't make it into a 64-team tournament for two straight years?

Which proves that being a public school with great facilities isn't an advantage. Having the right coach is an advantage. We didn't have the right coach.

Being a fan of the U doesn't require me to be ignorant of NCAA rules. Not sure how you made that leap.
