Under Mark Marquess, Stanford went to one CWS in the past 14 years and missed the tournament completely in 3 of the last 5 years. First year coach David Esquer has them at #2 in the RPI and a lock for a national seed. But coaching doesn't matter. Technology and facilities matter.
