Gilmour is my personal favorite. He didn't have the shredding or technicality of some of the other guys mentioned but he had a better feel than most.

You can disagree all you want but theres a ton of better guitarists than EVH. Terry Kath isn’t even top 25. If we’re talking greatest? I’m bending the rules to say Stevie Ray Vaughan on the technicality that some of his music is blues and southern rock.

I hear what you’re saying but I just don’t like Van Halen’s music. Eddie was could shred for sure but there’s just so many other guitarists I would choose for making the music I want to listen to.

Randy Rhoads yes. Eddie VH, no. Never been a fan of VH. Not that he’s not talented. It’s just that there’s probably 10-15 guitarists I would take before him.
