It's renamed to The Ron Fraser Baseball Board. How is that not compromise? That's more likely to get people curious about who he was than a nickname.

If you're trying to bring new people in, maybe not using a nickname that's only know to people over 50 is a good start. Nobody is disrespecting Fraser or his contributions or erasing his history by renaming a sub-forum on a fan site that's not run by the school.
