Does anyone have any evidence that Foote tried to shut the program down? I don't mean articles showing his displeasure with the image, i mean shut it down. If not, maybe stop trying to rewrite history.
Could we do a lot worse? You see this all the time in management. Weak leadership doesn't want to put anyone in a position of authority who will challenge them.

But Foote really only cared about the school. He might have been disappointed by the bad boy image, but as long as it translated to better applicants, what he said and what he dud were two different things.
