There's more to this though. We're not giving up points in the second half because the defense is worn out. We're giving the up because we're getting younger players game experience.
When they avoid the 3rd down blitz that starts from 10 yards away they're a lot better. If you're going to blitz, you absolutely have to cover where the blitz is coming from.
