True, and minor symptoms are something kids generally tend to ignore or not even notice, especially if it gets in the way of having fun.

Proof that they're asymptomatic. As in completely free of all symptoms. A person who has a symptom so minor that it doesn't prevent them from going to a party is not asymptomatic. A little sniffle, chill, slight loss of smell is barely noticeable, but is still a symptom.

How is that not the case? There is no evidence from any of these situations to make a claim either way. The CDC says it's rare, but that doesn't mean it never happens. What I'm saying is that often somebody has minor symptoms. That's not the same as asymptomatic.

When they bother to do any actual reporting, you find that often someone has chills or some other symptom that doesn't leave them bedridden. They don't feel bad enough to avoid a party, so then you have an outbreak.

That would be why I said it's not peer reviewed. The point is that early indicators are positive. I don't treat evidence as gospel. It points in a direction. The direction all of the evidence points is a positive one.

I too will not leave my house until I have a peer reviewed study showing long term antibody and/or T cell protection for a virus that's not even a year old.

Well then, let's all just panic and cancel everything and hide under our sheets like frightened children until nobody ever gets sick again. Or you can take the word of the actual scientists quoted in the article and be optimistic. I'll never understand the mindset that actually disputes good...
