    Last drove over that in 2001. A rock fell off a flatbed tow truck and cracked my windshield. I took the hint and haven't gone back.

    I was young and remembered it as a paradise. I went back to visit around 2002 and found my childhood home replaced by a mansion and surrounded by houses and traffic. Bon Jovi: Who says you can't go home? Me: Anyone who ever left Cape Coral.

    The good old days. Cape Coral from 70-74. Lived on a canal and there were maybe two or three houses between my house and Del Prado. Now there are about 50.

    I do an appetizer called Cuban pickles where I take a pickle, hollow it out, and fill it with chopped ham, pork, swiss, and mustard then heat it on the egg at 300 for 20 minutes or so. I got the idea from an Eggfest I went to. You'd be surprised that you don't notice the Cuban bread is missing.

    I don't even know who you are anymore. Maybe I just had an inferior one, but it wasn't even close. One of these days I'll go to La Segunda and make an apples to apples comparison.

    Original, yes. The Cuban sandwich was invented in Tampa and it had salami. But is it really correct?
