As opposed to the alumni spread over Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties who are currently donating back to the school? Hard Rock is a great venue, definitely better than any stadium the university could afford to build.

Northern PBC here. I commuted to campus for 4 years. I'll grudgingly go to a game at Hard Rock, but no way will I go all the way to Gables for ****** parking just to see a game in a smaller stadium. I've got a kickass tv with a pause button right here at home.
