Tyler Scanlon is available, decent, and seems to fill a front court need. https://badgerswire.usatoday.com/2019/06/19/report-graduate-transfer-tyler-scanlon-sets-visit-to-wisconsin/ Of course we didn't contact him

Been that way for most of the transfers out there. Staff showed interest in like 5 dudes, got 2 of them, and packed it in.

Looking more and more like this is the team we're entering the year with. As for the plan, the plan is, pray to whatever God you believe in that nobody gets hurt/booted.

Given what's left in the portal, we might be better off punting on a grad transfer big. Instead, play without a traditional C, and try to shoot the other teams big off the floor, aka the Villanova/Golden State strategy. Either that, or just replace all of Rodney's blood with HGH and hope he...

Sueing off the board to Ohio State. Also, Derryck Thronton is a grad transfer. We don't really need a PG, and he can't shoot, but I know he took a visit with us when he left Duke. Wonder if the staff is still interested.

I maintain there's no way he sits one to play one. He has to know something we don't.

Giddens might be the one guy on earth I'd take Rodney over. Hard pass.

Looks like Holyfield used us for a free vacation, the staff figured that out quickly, and immediately shifted focus to Stone.

I'll carve Jim's face into a piece of marble if he manages to come away with Brooks, Figueroa, and Enaruna.

Was snooping around the internet, and some NC State fans think he might graduate in June. Also the possibility that he gets a waiver since Cronin left. https://www.backingthepack.com/nc-state-basketball/2019/4/21/18510091/nysier-brooks-transfer-cincinnati-nc-state-basketball NC State fans...

You'd think, but the press conference occurred before it came out that he was visiting Western Kentucky. Looks like he's definitely still thinking about leaving.

LJ would be an absolute home run. I was hoping we'd jump on him when he left New Mexico.

At this point, we desperately need either Nysier Brooks or Jayce Johnson. Can't go into next year with Miller and Gak as our only 2 bigs, I'd rather start a tub of Kirkland mayonnaise.

If they use Stone like Joe Thomas, its a good/great add. If they're expecting him and Sam to account for 95% of the minutes at the 4, its very meh.

At first I was like, he can't be any worse than Rodney Miller. Then I checked his stats. Yikes.

Fundamentally, talent is far more important than numbers. I don't think anybody's arguing otherwise. That said, having numbers maximizes your chance at having talent; 13 lottery tickets as opposed to 9. Our problem was/is both.
