Yeah I mean if you have 10-15 AB’s on kids with a spray chart sure(like Acc play). But 1 game vs a northern team you have never played…I don’t get it.

Once the game started I tried to just let them play. I hate in game adjustments. But one of the few things that made my blood boil was lead off walks after a big offensive inning. Especially one that gets you back in the game.

Stonehill was hitting .217 so far this year. Unless our 3 starting arms give us a lot of big time starts on the weekend i just don’t see 25 wins on our schedule. I mean Pitt even looks much improved. This is a reallllllly bad loss if it holds. Hoping for a late rally.

Coach Boen is outstanding. (Also a Stonehill alum i think) They have always been well coached and for years had to do more with less going against schools like Franklin Pierce and SNHU. Chestnutt is a 1-2 inning guy max…and honestly he wouldn’t be a weekend guy at Tampa or Barry even.

I just got home…I take it we are losing? Well Stonehill is in their second year of D1 so they dying to get a program defining win.

2nd year in D1 after being a very good D2 program in the Ne10. Took one from FAU earlier in the week. They play an awful Maryland-Eastern Shore this weekend. So I’ll be interested to see if they give a few innings to their top 2 arms who threw well vs Fsu and they treat us like their World...
