Jack is a great kid. I worked with him at a camp his sophomore year…maybe Junior year. I forget. But it was on the mound. He is a big kid and was already 87-88. I’d throw him back in the bump and see what happens. That’s where most wanted him early on.

We lost some really good players...but have some outstanding ones coming in and everyone will be a year older. Some of it obviously falls on the players to get better....but this will be another year where our development will either show up clearly or lack of development will show up clearly...

I have no clue why I put that...I am so off with what day/time and month it is....I'm thinking he is a 22' that was just waiting until the last possible minute. So disregard the previous post for the next 12 months. Lets hope he helps us then.

Just added Alex Valentin yesterday. Real late commit. Not sure if he was hoping to go high in the draft or just not sure what route he wanted to go (Maybe some JUCOs' selling him on 1-2 years) LHP...really really like this kids upside. Hate to compare him to a rival but there is some Parker...

Some speculation that Green and Mule could both end up on campus. Gino’s dad must be pulling out the stops to just load up on high level talent and see what happens. Still doubt either of them happen but like u said Vandy and Lsu always seem to pull 1st round kids into staying.

Jack Findlay from Notre Dame in the portal. LHP, Freshman All American. Go get him. Now. Probably end up at FSU. But take a shot. We were one of the few teams to hit him around. But huge upside and we need some LHP

And don’t be surprised if there are 2-3 more. These kids see they aren’t being developed. Some of it is on them but if you aren’t providing them the right tools they will only go so far.

Like I said…a few surprises could put next season in an early tailspin. Alex is a big time talent who with some fine tuning is a Friday starter. McFarlane has the best stuff and biggest upside on the staff if you ask me.

I havent seen or heard much on him this year...so I take that as a good thing for us. But you just never know with high school kids. I doubt he needs money. There are a lot of really good high school players this year and a much smaller draft than 5 years ago. It will be interesting to see...

There is more of a chance now then 6 months ago. But it is still going to be tough. His potential is off the charts. I just saw that his last 2 weeks at the plate have been his best of the season. 3 homeruns in his last game. Has not pitched much this season. Not sure if the arm was...

Chestnut helped them make it to Grand Junction. Also named FCSAA pitcher of the year...he isnt putting up numbers on slouches. School had some big time talent. Caleb Cali is a grown man in their line up. They have a Lefty...Mason Ronan. I think he was at Pitt LHP low 90's but really knows...
