I’ve pointed that out, and was told “yeah, but we lost some close games too. We’re as good as our record was.”
The fact was, we were really close to being a four win team last season.
Florida is closer to a turnaround than Miami. Mario’s next season will be worse, 2024 will get us back to 6-7 wins. 2025 is where you have the combination of enough talent and experience to look for a ten win season.

That’s why I think the record could be worse (with much better overall play). You can’t throw three true freshmen in there - no matter how talented - and expect wonders.
I remember it being a factor in our offensive downturn in 2018, and was a huge factor in 2019. Lashlee’s scheme somewhat masked the deficiencies, but we didn’t take advantage of that two year window to recruit back to normalcy.
I think honestly we may have 55 new players on the team next year.
That said, if Mario had any honor he’d resign. He failed utterly. If this was his performance on field he would have his scholarship pulled. He is stealing money.
