Not going to happen. Texas A&M and Missouri are the only schools that would vote against it.

Trailerhassee more closely resembles your typical SEC college town than the city of Miami. That may be why Miami is written off.

Houston is a smart choice. I didn’t think of them at first.

West Virginia makes the most sense. I still think the ACC would be better off merging with the B1G or Pac 12. Cut out the weak links in both leagues so you can compete with the SEC.

In hindsight, that was miss. You could swap them in for NC State or Georgia Tech.

Some ideas:

You could do it so teams only have to travel across the country once. Play all 7 teams in your division, which would be your side of the country. Play 2 cross division games, with one being home and the other away.

It’s a cool concept. Seems far-fetched….but it might be necessary.

Call it the “Coastal Conference,” with East and west divisions.

Until you see a respected national reporter run with that, exercise caution.
