“Our guys are really looking forward to the start of the season,” head coach Jim Larranaga said. “They’ve been working very, very hard. We’re a smaller team than we were even last year so we’re going to have some major challenges ahead of us. I think our guys are looking forward to that. They...
A couple thoughts from that video. Thanks for posting!
- Joseph really struggled
- Beverly did not look bad at all
- Aire might earn some minutes for his defensive presence
- Wooga looks quicker and more fluid
- Pack has such a smooth shot
Sort of a weird schedule. 4 ACC games in December, 3 road games in a row in late January, and then 5 out of the last 7 are at home. At least there should only be a couple of ACC home games during Winter Break when our students aren't here (UVA on 12/20 and possibly BC on 1/11).
That being said, our only games out of state are in that mini 2 game tourney in mid November. This is a doable OoC for a talented team with a lot of new faces. It would be disappointing to come out of this OoC slate with anything more than 2 losses.

To the average college basketball fan, our OoC looks lousy. Not a lot of big name “****” programs. But it’s deceptively tough. Lots of solid teams on that list. Only a handful of true cupcake games.
Young depth, but a lot of length and versality on our bench. We need 2 of Beverly, Joseph, Wooga, and Robinson to step up and 2 of the true freshman to contribute something. That would give us a 9 man rotation.
