Probably. Every report I've read says something different, but the general consensus does seem to be that we were considered the favorites at one point but now it's "wide open." I think ****burn not going to Kentucky makes them a real possibility again.

Getting Duren would obviously be amazing for this program, BUT we better have some good backup plans in case we don't land him.

On a side note, it's kind of sad that we have to rely on Kentucky websites and beat writers to get updates on Duren. You'd think there'd be a UM reporter all over this. Then again, the media coverage for Canes basketball has always been practically non-existent.

I tend to agree. but I don't think we should get our hopes up. I still think it's either Memphis or a pro league for Duren. We'll finish in 2nd (or 3rd) place.

We aren't actively rooting against anything, just tired of L trotting out Rodney Miller and Deng Gak and thinking that will do. The staff has had months to find a competent big in the portal and they haven't done squat. Not one. What makes you think they'll be able to sign 2 this late into it...

Lol. Again, we got excited for no reason. The staff better have a good back up plan in place, because our current frontcourt is barely Low D1 quality.

If Duren is going to reclassify to this class, when is the deadline to do so?

Can we help him do that? The U has good branding and our location is great, but we have no basketball hype or fanbase.
