****nal going ham on the transfer market. Curious to see Arteta’s vision for Havertz but hard to doubt him on his recruitment decisions. Rice is going to be a lot of what was missing, especially with Partey slacking at the end of the year.

**** man I hope so. I’d imagine Kane will be about phased out by the time the 2026 comes around. I’m sure @OldhamA hopes sooner. I don’t know how that decision goes. I am assuming as this rate he will be back at ****nal next season to rotate with Jesus and Nketiah. What do you think he...

Are we going to get an England/Argentina final? Is it coming home? @OldhamA

EPL = English Premier League. So top flight in England. With the promotion/relegation system, England had a pyramid of 7 or so leagues. Teams at the bottom of the upper level will drop to the one below it each year, and teams at the top of the lower level will move up one. There are a number...

While ****nal is my main club, I have a soft spot for Ipswich Town as well. Had an old friend from there. It is just much harder to follow even the Championship from the states.

Get into clubs! It is really fascinating seeing how different teams approach the game and build their own identities and how each league does the same. Much higher quality of play too.

It is wild how Rice just stagnated in his development. Grealish to an extent too.

I mean I like their food and wine. I still like Giroud. I also find the people dressing up as Crusaders (as is custom for English fans) in the Arabic world to tickle the dark humor itch, deliberate or not. It does seem like something is missing from this English squad. I just don't know...

That may be fair to say, but the truth is we really don't know. In any case, I am pulling for ya now that my yanks are out.

I’m not saying it was a win. I am just saying on the pitch there wasn’t much separating the two. It wasn’t like England had a ton more possession and shots and we held on for dear life. Our inexperience showed against the Dutch but we are moving in the right direction with a ton of very young...

Didn't we just draw two weeks ago?

Me neither but he will have a much, much easier path to minutes with us. I hope he makes his way back to ****nal. I’d assume him and Musah were at Hale End at the same time?

We need to send Mario and Ruiz after Florian Balogun before 2026 and how Aaronson continues this trajectory. But Balogun is that guy and the missing piece.

What about Rashford? I feel like he is much more direct and tends to sit further up field.

And then the next day he got it so, so wrong with Ferreira over Reyna. Smartest guy in the roomz

Thought we could have used him today to get and retain some possession but we got the result, and that’s what matters. Hopefully Pulisic and Sargeant are healthy for Saturday. British friends - did the lyrics to “Don’t take me home” have to change due to the locale of the tournament?

I mean he would know better than me, but I wouldn't say Grealish and Mount are negative players. You're also overlooking that Southgate kept the same starting XI from the Iran match when they put in 6. That's why I mentioned the subs more than starters. What I will say is Grealish has not...

We actually have a really good one right now coaching in the EPL at Leeds. I think he could be the guy down the line but still seems be thriving in that grind of being a club manager. But the qualities of a national team vs club manager are kind of different, and so are the philosophies. The...

I mean I’m not sure how that goes to he was playing for 0-0. He was talking about a matter of preference. Mount looked dangerous. It’s not like bringing Grealish on wasn’t an attacking move. Jordan Henderson was the biggest head scratcher.

It’s incredible how he approaches things given their midfield and attackers. If Maguire is that big of a concern, then drop him and play Ben White or play White at fullback like he has for ****nal and get extra cover.
