Miami was not legitimately part of CFP conversation last year. If they were, they wouldn't have lost their last 3 straight and 4 rolling into the flop in Big D to open this year.
Their mirage of a top 4 ranking was about as accurate as 1+1=3--and that was proven by the losing streak.
