This team is trying to get good looks and make good shots but UVAs defense is simply on another level. The “bad” shots we’re taking are shots we have to choice but to take because UVA is an impenetrable fortress on D and 30 seconds isn’t enough time to get a good look. I know people want to say...
Unfortunately just like football, we lack elite personnel down low/up front. We have great guards/skill players but when it comes down to the “big men” where these big games are decided, we have work to do.
Hate to say it, but I have the same feeling right now I had early in the acc title game. We may just simply not be there (yet). We just feel overmatched and I don’t know if we can keep the game in hand for too much longer, much less win.
